It's a Cracker Barrel. This one was much less busy on a Saturday morning than I am used to. Still, seemed to take a lot longer time for the meal to be prepared and brought to the table. Longer than usual. Good food. Decent price. Nice enough server.
We always enjoy Cracker Barrel. Friendly staff, good food, pleasant atmosphere. Love the pecan pancakes! They were busy last time we were there, and our waitress brought us biscuits to have while we waited
As Cracker Barrel's go I was not impressed with this one.
But not here.
We like this chain. The ultimate in comfort food. It's worth trying if you have not.
I'm really disappointed about this one and we'll have to mark it on my maps is not to stop at. I love going in and shopping, while waiting for my to-go order or my dinner...
Their clearance rack seemed to be behind the timing of the other Cracker Barrels that I passed on my trip. Like they were still at 25% off and the other Cracker Barrels that I stopped on the same trip were at 50 and 75% off.
Also I got the worst meal ever at this Cracker Barrel. They were out of catfish so I had to get the Cod. There were three good-sized pieces of fish in my take-out dinner, but after all of the pieces that were freezer burned, dried, and over fried got spit out I got about three good bites in. I threw it in the trash at the gas station and went through McDonald's drive-thru. That's saying a lot because the last McDonald's I drove through was about 4 years ago.
The same delicious and affordable food one would expect from a Cracker Barrel. Servers were fast and efficient. Generally very clean and organized.
