When I heard about the trouble, I expected to be "taken for a ride" since she was from out of town and essentially stranded. I talked with a fellow named Joe who filled me in on the details and repair options, I authorized the installation of a remanufactured transmission at his estimated cost. You also arranged for a rental vehicle at your cost so that she could return home that day.
My wife was returning home to Lynchburg, VA from a trip when the transmission in her 2002 Ford Explorer crapped out near Beckley. She nursed it to your establishment for evaluation and repairs.
