This is a buy here pay here, you are buying a used car not a certified pre owned. They only cover what the warranty says it cover. They were very open with me about the car i purchased if you don't look over the car that's your fault it's a used car, Like any lot yes they will take your car if you miss 3 payments or are late without contacting them.. That should be obvious I feel. They have been pretty nice all in all and even offered to pay 50% on the exhaust that needs replaced (not covered by warranty he didn't have todo that) as I said this is a buy here pay here do your homework on the car first look over real good and drive it and just be a decent person to them and they will be nice to you.
I have two vehicles that I have gotten from here and I would buy another. The first car I bought has not had any issues and we have had it for two years. The second one we bought about two months ago is having minor issues. This is a used car lot that sells used vehicles not brand new ones so yes something might go wrong as it would with any used vehicle. You take a chance anywhere you go to buy a used vehicle. Alice is absolutely amazing and so is Dave the repo man/mechanic. They are both two of my favorite people. The payments here are $200 a month regardless of the vehicle and that's an amazing price for a car payment. I have had $600 payments before plus full coverage insurange and I would much rather pay $200 a month.
They don't care what they sell you just so long as they get your money. Terrible dealership.
Sketchy place, trashy workers. Lewis is probably the biggest douche I ever met. And John (owner of the business) thought because I was a girl I knew nothing about cars until I pointed out many flaws about his used cars, including rusted and warped rotors. Never bought a car here and wouldn't. I had a new car and they wanted me to trade it in for their crap cars HAHA yeah right, dream on. I knew everything that went on since I actually trained to work there when I was in college. I trained maybe a month before going back to retail. Now Im out of college and this place is still screwing people over. They always wash it up real nice and replace bare minimum. I once heard them say "We will sell it as long as it runs until the customer gets home. Not our problem after that." Luckily they had a nice mechanic that did decent work even though he was underpaid. He was always nice to me. Not sure if hes still there so be wary. Also, customers need to really read the agreements. Three non-payments and you get repoed. But.. if you are nice or well liked, they will erase one off your record (sometimes repeatedly) since they are unprofessional and pick favoritism like that.
LEWIS with By Pass Auto sales, do not go here! He came to repo my 07 Durango because he said I had no Insurance, would not let me come in to call my insurance company or stated he would take off in my car with items and all still in it. After I realized I was fighting a losing battle, they left, I came in, called my insurance company my ins. was NOT cancelled, he took my durango for no reason! He realized that it was close to being payed off and wanted it! My ins. company even faxed him papers & called him to tell him it was not cancelled. He said I could get the Durango back for the Pay off amount of 6,000! He is the most rudest SOB. I Have hired a laywer... he has NO IDEA whats in store for him! defamation of character... everything I can think of... its gonna hit him hard!
