Hooray for Marvin Horatio, the little Christmas Pig!
No places to sit and wait...that is if you can even find the spot that the bus actually comes and stops at. I was waiting on the upper level in the free parking because that seemed like the spot that the bus would pull into. I even walked around a little bit to read signs and try to find some kind of hint as to where the actually bus stop was. Looked at the time and figured the bus should be there by that point so we drove around the block again and I'm glad I did. I ended up having to chase my bus down the road!!! Thankfully the driver stopped and let me on. Nothing was marked at all!!! I figured down below in the garage was more for the local buses because that's where they were all parked. What are you supposed to do? Bring 5 people with you so that you can have lookouts to make sure the bus doesn't get away from you? Will never ride Greyhound again! I'd rather pay double to rent a car!
If I could only get somewhere by traveling grayhound I'd just stay home
Not too bad, alot of stops but no complaints
Hard to find. Ticket booth operator rude. No inside seating area. And matter of fact no seats outside either. No restrooms. Operator said bus running hour late. No email from greyhound letting us know there was a delay. Only reason im taking greyhound to charlotte to fly back to los Angeles is because there are no legit airports in the state. Truly Beckley lives up to its name of the armpit of the South at the beckley greyhound station. Ohh and a guy waiting on the bus walked up to me and said he just got out of prison.
Greyhound terminal in Beckley WVa is at first glance a wonderful sheltered place to wait for your bus, a covered modern facility that also hosts the local transit agency. It feels as though you are pulling into a safe cozy underground cavern as you wind your way over, down, around and finally into the bus stop proper. Covered by successive layers of parking above the structure it feels solid and safe. Walking up to the terminal offices you are in for a surprise, for just inside, decked out in all of his finery and covered in glowing lighted splendor, and standing there to greet you in opulent glory is Marvin Horatio, the little Christmas Pig!
