Went for a routine cleaning. Very personable and professional. Dr. Gray gave me a thorough examination and offered sound advice about a cracked tooth I had been neglecting. Hard to find practitioners who will take their time, these days. He took the time to answer all my questions. You may wait a little while, but once you get in the chair, you are priority one.
Never go to the Dentist Dr Trevor Gray on Harper Road. Every time I have gone there at my "appointed time" it took me 2-3 hours to get in. The idots took my HMO twice first time for an examination and second time to pull one of the two teeth I needed removed to stop my tooth pain. Well... I get up at 9:30 after working last night, drive all the way to Harper Road, get there and sit for about 30 mins after my appointed time. Then the secretary comes out and says. "I'm pretty sure we are not taking your insurance anymore" even though the past 2-3 weeks they have. She goes back and talks to Gray and comes back saying we wont take your insurance again and that shes sorry but if I had any questions I could ask. So I ask her why she called us yesterday to verify my appointment, but didnt notifiy me of this "sudden" change of policy. All she says is "I'm sorry". They could of least told me yesterday when they called so I didnt waste my time and fuel. Oh thats the beginning. On the last visit the Dr numbed my gums and sent me back out in the waiting room for it to "take effect". Well about 1 1.2 hours later... after taking about 2-3 other people he noticed I was still there in the waiting room and finally took me back to pull my tooth after having to numb my gums again because the sedation had worn off. Not to mention that after he pulled it he bruised my gums causing pain for days after.
